Lornar's Pass from Beacon's Perch HM + H/H
I am having a terrible time vanquishing Lornar's Pass from Beacon's Perch. Anybody have a Hero/Henchie Build and some tips that will help? I've been trying every build I can think of for three days.
I have Sab's 3 Necro build, which does okay up until the mobs of Grawl (with Grawl Crones) and huge mobs of Stone Summit (with their Dolyak Masters) in the Southern end of Lornar's pass.
Would it be easier to run north from Deldrimor War Camp so I can have eight in my party?
Either way, I need a H/H build to both shut down the ice imps and also shut down the Dolyak Masters and Grawl Crones.
Any tips?

Starting from the south end will make it much more easy.
I did it using a MM necro, a SS necro and a heavy interupt mesmer team of heroes with 2 monk and 2 ele henchies. Once the minions are up, just let the machine roll its way up north.
if you can afford consummable from EoTN they help too.

Hey, the build worked great, and running north from War Camp really helped! Thanks.
Also, I used one each of EotN consummables: Essence of Celerity, Armor of Salvation, and Grail of Might. With these three, I was able to power my way through the southern half of Lornar's Pass in the 30 minutes that they lasted. The Southern half is where all the mobs are, so this was great.
Thanks!

Here's the code.
OQBDAowjK5wFUAaAHkBxdPA
[skill]Cry of frustration[/skill][skill]Power sPike[/skill][skill]Power Block[/skill][skill]Empathy[/skill][skill]Backfire[/skill][skill]power drain[/skill][skill]Ether signet[/skill][skill]Leech signet[/skill]
Heroes use it very well with no micro needed. Use it againt the mesmer boss at the end of the faction mission Boreas Seabed and he wasnt able to cast once.
Gwen was my only interupt hero so she deserves all the credits.

Consider replacing Backfire with Power Lock and Power Spike with Shatter Hex or Drain Hex.

Thanks for the input.
Power lock is cheaper to use and gives about the same result.
I' ll remove Power Spike when i'm in places where i need less interupt and more dmg.

If you're interupting, Backfire is less than useful, as they don't take damage when interupted.
I might suggest [skill]Web of Disruption[/skill] if you need another interupt, as it's cheep, and you might get 2 for 1.
Signet of Distraction might be good too, perhaps instead of Empathy if you need another interupt, especialy with 2 other signets.
Now, for more utilitarian builds, keep Empathy, and maybe throw Energy Burn on instead of one of the other skills.
Of course, for me, since I play a mesmer, I'll probably stick with 3 Necros or 2 Necros and a Monk or Ele hench.

Me and friend vanquished it from Beacons with a 4 heros. I was a 600 monk with my Tahlkora hero set for healing. Friend was the smite monk and he bought along 3 SF eles. Grawl Crones are no trouble at all if you keep them at wanding distance. The rest is down to careful aggro and pulling back to within range of the eles who just melt them. I can provide builds if anyone is interested.

any tips for dreadnaught's drift? there are so many dolyak masters that my team keeps getting wiped and end up rezzing at the northern rez shrine where the mobs patrol which ends up with the team going through cycles of rez/wipe/rez...
